“Routine is the one thing that can get you killed. It tells the enemy where you’re going and when you’re going to be there.”
The book is about a 14-year-old boy called Alex, who works for the MI6 (That’s the British secret service). After his last mission, he returns to his normal life with school and everything but when he gets back into it, he gets immediately kicked out again.
Two multimillionaires get killed. The coincidence is that both of their sons go to a special school for problematic teenagers in the French Alps. The head of MI6 suspects that something is wrong with this and sends Alex to this school with a false identity. At the school Alex finds out that there is something amiss with the Dr Grief, the director, so he starts investigating and almost dies multiple times.
What I liked best was the ending, because on the last pages the book turns again and there is an open ending. I highly recommend that book to people who like thrilling and exciting agent stories.
