Have you ever thought that one day the earth could be covered with a white mist, and you will have to live in the sky on platforms and travel with ships carried by huge balloons?
NO? Me neither, but the story in this book with 352 pages took me into this imperfect world where Hazel, a bold and daring captain, Swedish, the strong, suspicious pilot, Bea, the brilliant and cheerful mechanic and our main Caracter Chess, the quiet and tough tether boy encounter many adventures on their way. They have to fight against merciless sky pirates or survive the dirty fights in the slum. But the worst threat is the ruthless Lord Kodoc, who patrols the sky to find Chess because of his secret that he has been hiding for years under his goggles. What exactly Chess has been hiding under his googles and what other problems the crew has to face you will find out while reading this amazing book.
While reading it, I was fascinated how well-written it is. You feel like you are part of the crew and manage all the problems with them from the beginning.
I think the author has created a wonderful world to explore and a fitting cover for the book to go with it. For me it was fun to read this book and I really recommend it to people who are into punk and like fantasy.
