Asher, Jay: TH1RTEEN R3ASONS WHY
Buchtipps | Englische Bücher
When Clay Jensen returns home from school one day he finds a package in the mail. Inside it there are seven cassette tapes recorded by Hannah Baker, a classmate and crush who committed suicide a few weeks earlier.
On these tapes, Hannah talks about 13 reasons why she killed herself, and Clay is one of them. After listening, each person must give the tapes to the next person on the list. If anybody fails to pass them on, a copy of the recordings will be made public.
Clay is the ninth person on the list. He is the narrator of the story along with Hannah. As he listens to Hannah’s tapes, Clay describes his emotions to her story.
This book is a psychological thriller. I really enjoyed the novel because it is deep, emotional and heart touching. I would recommend it to everyone who likes stories about serious topics as I do.
