Shepard, Sara: Pretty Little Liars
The book is about a group of five girls – Alison, Emily, Hanna, Aria and Spencer- who are best friends. Alison is the so-called leader and everyone likes her the most. But the girls are also a bit scared of her. Alison is the only one who knows every secret of each girl.
One night, Alison disappears. No one knows where she is, and after one year of searching, the police give up.
Three years pass with nobody hearing from Alison. Aria, Spencer, Emily and Hanna are now living their own lives and forget Alison. But then, suddenly each of them gets mysterious messages from someone named –A, who is blackmailing them. They have a feeling that –A might be Alison. But Alison is dead, isn’t she?
I liked the book, because it is really well-written and very gripping. I couldn’t put the book down and I think the book is perfect for girls between 13 and 16.
I would recommend this book to everyone who likes a mix of romance, thriller and mystery.
